just hold off and get something thats going to last and that you'll be happy with for the long term. Cuz im sure you'll be ripping out those weld-ins for a catback down the road. So just hold off a bit while and it will be more rewarding.

And TJ spits it out...nice.

Yeah, spend some time looking around and make sure you know your end goal in terms of what the final exhaust will look like or you will find yourself wasting money down the road when you decide you want want long tubes.

Dude I had an 01 GT vert...and I got that rumble sound you're talking about. Obviously the more you do the better it will sound...but I had Flowmasters 40 series and a BBK X-Pipe w/high flow cats (dang emissions state ) it had a nice rumble to it and had some sweet backfire...that's the solution if you're on a budget. If you've got paper to blow....full exhaust preferably O/R if your state allows and CAMS, CAMS, CAMS !!!

MAC'S and a o/r h pipe will get you there and not put a dent in your pocket.

No joke... i have the same story. I loved it man, it made my day.

edit: I think I woulda left it off for a bit longer but then I and my buddy (who also ripped his exhaust dwn to headers) decided to terrorize the some curvey roads, power sliding about n around w/ our "manly set-up" roaring loud until we heard a siren in the distance. I dunno how far away or even it was the police but we blew that popsicle-stand quick and back to his garage.
