I took my car to the mechanic with my 3.73 gears 02 gt and he said that the gauges will need to be calibrated?? He didnt know if it had to be done with a gear or a computer can anyone justify this if so how hard is it and how much?? Or will he just put the gears on and everything be perfect? LOL!

It not "gauges", just the speedometer. You will need a tune/tuner or a Dallas Mustang SpeedCal...

Yes, I am not aware of any tuner that does not allow reprogramming of the rear-axle ratio...

What else do you plan on changing with the tuner? Change the octane?
