Sad sad day...
 

so i got hit by the guy behind me today, Dude wasn't paying attention to the road and hit me so hard it spun me completely around into another car and destroyed everything in my trunk...Thank god everyone was ok and i have collision on the car.

Mostly pissed cause i had JUST washed her, and was taking for a nice cruise afterwards, o and the fact it wasn't my falt. Shouldn't be totaled but must be cutting it close adjuster looks at it next week. so fingers crossed.

definately not totaled...itll be back on the road in no time. no worries

Luckly and saddly i have only had the car for like 2 months so not much in addons, and I don't have the cash for a diffrent bumper, but i think ill go down and ask about it tom. but tonight is a cry myself to sleep night for sure lol

haha, yea kinda plus it wasnt my falt n is a pain in the ass, n now i g2 drive around a 1988 olds cluncker, not to mension now an accident is gonna show up on the car and i g2 pray the paints gonna match

Feel your pain bro. Lady backed into me at the gas station Tuesday and I've only had my car for a little over a month also... definitely not as bad as your's, but still sucks. Glad you're okay though.

Alright guys i need your input...

Heres my delema, the damage is bad enough where I could total the car, or i could repair it (Shop is willing to get it so it's not totaled if i want) The value of the car according to the insurance company is $11,500

Nows heres my delema, I bought the car for $9,800 so totaling it wouldnt be a financal loss for me, just a god dam shame. But if i fix it, now it's been in an accident and because its the metallic paint it's probably not going to match up, and they'll have to blend it in. and If i ever goto sell the car, thats a huge value hit!

So i really don't know what to do, total the car and get another with the 11.5k, OR fix it up and hope the paint matches, and in 4 or 5 years an accident doesn't destroy the value and sellability of the car.... I don't wana get stuck with the car noone wants a few years down the line and have to take a loss...HELP! lol
