The main reason is that I found them on sale. I will be running N/A and nitrous for quite a while before I will be throwing another $6-7K into this thing for the KB I want. I figure for the time being, what's $159 in the mod world even if I just get a more free revving motor

What are your mods anyway? I assume LT's, H/X pipe, mufflers, UDPs, CAI, TB, Plenum, STS, gears, coil overs all the way around, cc plates. Did I miss anything or anything you don't have that I listed?

Track times are before the drag suspension when I was on eibach lowering springs. Now I just need a driver mod, and to stop spinng 1st and 2nd

I thought about it. I think I might upgrade to strange adjustable fronts maybe next year, that way I can have 90/10 for the track and put it back to something more street friendly when driving around town.

I bought a Steeda set from a fellow forum member, at a reasonable price, and was quite pleased the the result. Not OMG, WTF, WOW, but quite noticeable on hard acceleration in the mid/upper RPMs, and a bit of MPG gain.

Sort of related, I installed a lightened flywheel (16lbs) and new clutch yesterday and found a similar "gain", also during hard acceleration at almost any RPM--I'm waiting to see if there's any gain "at the pump"...
