315s on a 17x8 stock 05 wheel?

How much power are you making? 250 to the wheels or so? Do you really think you need 315 nitto DR's to hook? A 255 nitto DR is going to hook at that power level no problem. If youre making under 400whp I see no reason to have a 315 unless youre looking for lateral grip and youre not getting that with a DR. At least they arent Sumis though, to me 315 Sumitomos are the mustang equivilant of aluminum spoilers on imports.

Not necessarly.... i've seen stock power 2vs do wheelies, and i can assure you it wasn't on a 255 tire. If he has 4.10s and is launching i highly doubt he hooks on 255s. O.P buy new wheels. 315s ftw but not on an 8 inch wheel.

Nobody is doing on wheelies on DOT approved tires with a stock powered mustang besides for maybe MT ET Streets and even then I doubt it.

I got a video somewhere of a 3.90 geared mustang pulling the front end up on the street with nittos.

its all in the weight transfer.

i have a friend tht runs a 275 on 8s in the rear. no complaints there but he's a straight line guy too
