So I got bored today and decided to prematurely install my BBK 78mm throttle body/plenum combo. Install was easy enough, although I do not understand how/why those TPS screws are on so f-in tight... like wtf ford? Why would you put a screw on THAT tight that strip easy and use bolts that can be turned with a socket wrench for literally everything else? /rant haha.
But anyways, as far as performance goes, there was defiantly no LOSS in power, that is for sure. Throttle response is better. However, the one complaint I do have is that the gas pedal is now practically 4x times more stiff the stock. It will take some getting use to for sure. I hope that It will break in some soon.
Overall, the car "feels" different for sure. I am going to the track this Thursday, so we will see what it does along the lines of performance. Defiantly worth the money though I think, looks good under the hood and has a cool kinda "Rush" noise to it (under the hood)

Proof means before and after dyno numbers on the same day with absolutely no other changes, nothing short of that. The *** dyno doesnt pick up 5hp. I too have also wondered why they are torqued down so incredibly tight.

like it doesn't make sense. They are the TIGHTEST screws in the install by far (I guess other then the EGR screws), but yet you cant use a socket on them. However, I bet its because if they were screws you could socket, you could over-tighten them easy, leading to a malfunction/crack?
I do believe that the car is the SAME, at least. As stupid as it sounds, I would notice if the car felt slower... I'm very observant in that sense.

Absolutely.....I mean I know it sounds egotistical but I have a damn good amount of upper body strength my arms arent exactly stock if you know what I mean. But when I was screwing around cleaning my TB I figure Id try to pop it off with JUST a standard cheap 3/8th socket ratchet. Yeah I didnt pop **** OFF I was like yeah F this i'm weak haha.
