I've been looking into purchasing a vortech supercharger kit, and im a little confused on what the difference is between the V1, V2 and V3 kits. They seem like they are all pretty similar. I would prefer to get one that you can easily hear because they sound awesome.

The v1 is the loudest... The v2 can also be loud unless you get the "sq" version for sound quality or sound quiet or w/e the F it stands for haha. And i don't know much about the v3 besides that it is a self contained unit and you dont need to tap the oil pan like you need to do with the v1 and v2

So what exactly is the difference between the V1 and V2?

Gears are cut different between the two. The V-1 is much louder, don't have to spin the V-2 as much to make more power as the V-1
