2010 short block with 99 2v parts
 

would a 2010 short block be compatible with 1999 2v parts.. (heads, cam, timing cover, etc)

It's possible but I doubt it, god knows what has changed in the blocks from then till now, that is so many years to change things, anyway why are you trying to find out?

i need a new short block, and found a new one for $1,000
