ok so now i got the look my new saleen kit, wheels, gauges painted interior pieces. Now i wanna get a little performance out of her without a blower. all i have is the bbk cai. next weekend im ordering the lm1 catback.

My ? to you guys is what should i do for some performace without spending thousands like heads, cam, blower. i plan on doin no2 soon tho. i read that a throttle body really doesnt do anything on a stock motor so prolly wont do that yet. what do you think.

dude, do the 1500$ vortech kit its a sticky on here somewhere. that sounds like right up your alley.

is vortec really worth it for 1500. in the furure if i dont end up buying a cobra i was looking at the kenne belle twin screw 6psi non intercooled 100hp and it was 3900. how much hp will a vortec give out and where would i find one that cheap

If you are dead set on doing a non-intercooled blower then i'd go with the Vortech. Personally, i'd go with the fully intercooled 9psi Kenne Belle kit if it were me.

I'd start with a tune and gears.

SCT all the way. and 4.10 gears or die as well lol. short shifter and underdrive pulleys woke my car up pretty good too

short shifter would be a little rough for me since i have an auto...lol i dont know if i am going to get 4.10's because i drive it to work for now havent got another vehicle yet.

ok so i will most likely get the 3.73's and the sct tuner and the rebuild kit and bearing kit which is gonna run about 750 then getting it all installed. but this isnt going to be for a while. just curious what is the stock ratio on a 03 gt auto??
