Dude, i dont remember the last time my car was running 100%, i dont think anyone does. lol this occurs all the time for me. and i think that the OP is just worried about it more than most of us would, which is why the new thread. I mean i used to be worried as hell if something happened to my car. But then i realized...if something major happens or something detrimental breaks, youre going to know it there and then. And if that happens, its time to upgrade so it doesnt happen again, or has less of a chance of happening again anyways. but i think the op's car is fine. probably in better condition than my tranny and motor is anyways.

unless regular maintenance wasn't preformed, IDK why a vehicle wouldn't run like a champ.

Unless something is wrong, due to misuse and low fluids/worn out components.

Haha i'd say my components are...pretty warn out. lol having sucked up water, been over-revved before and revved to 6500 plenty of times, i'd say my s***s worn out. lol but nothing is going to be 100% after use for a couple years.

Well, i hit the rev limiter at least twice a week. Gotta let them pistons run loose!!!!
