Thanks for the info guys ! I'm gonna get my Bronco all spiffied up, sell it along with some other stuff. I just want a nice DD with some decent looks and some V8 power, the 4.6L + Borla stingers tend to make me jizz my pants. First things I'd prob do would be exhaust, tint and maybe lower a little ? If I felt like it down the road I could always throw a little boost at it. Although I don't know how the 4.6 handles boost.

I'm not looking for a factory monster, just a nice car. I have the 79 to blast about in. I'm thinkin if I get a new edge the Cobra will became a drag car.

The 4.6L's high Volumetric Efficiency and low compression ratio nature make it an almost perfect engine for forced induction. Blow it and dont look back That's why they supercharged the 03/04 cobra with so much success.

The 4.6s tend to handle 8-10 psi reliably.

I run 11 psi, intercooled with a safe tune and have yet to have a problem

The 4.6 loves boost. It is the most economical way to get horsepower. But, because of the rods and pistons, the motor is pretty much limited to 400 rwhp.

The biggest problem with the 4.6 is is its small bore diameter: 3.55". This limits the size of the valves and limits airflow through the motor. That why Ford went with 3 and 4 valve heads.

Alright guys, I'll have to sell some stuff and start lookin, I had found one today lol. Blue, automatic, never driven in winter, was the guys wifes car, they have no kids... Gotta sell my current vehicle first though *sigh*
