Default Going to the track this weekend!!!

I have never had this car down the track, and I just want to get a solid refresher and baseline.

Any thoughts on what it might run based on mods in Sig? I am hoping for High 13's for now, I won't be too bummed at low 14's.

My goal is to get it down in the 12's without any motor help, Weight loss and traction??? don't know how reasonable/expensive that will be but I figure if I can do that and then start adding horsepower it would be pretty mean!

If you can get a good launch I think you could pull high 13's maybe even a mid 13's. But practice makes perfect.

I agree. It's all about your launch. A sub 2.0 60' time and you should see good times.

High 13s is definitely in the picture with some decent driving.

As long as it hooks hi to mid 13's should be no problem with that 4.10 gear. Without the LT's you have or the TB/plenum I hit a best of 13.5 last year. I have the TB/plenum and a better suspension setup this year and I've managed a 13.26, I think there's still a tad left.

hes running full bolt-on's and NT05R's...there is no way that he should have trouble hitting those numbers. I mean he might have to launch the thing, in which case his stock axles are probably gonna be the weak point, but a nice solid launch he should see some mid 13's easy.

With those tires and some good driving, low 13's are not out of the question. Since it's your first time i'd say high 13's is probably more along the lines of reality, but who knows.

The only thing I am worried about is Reaction time. I have raced othe vehicles on the track before, just not this car. I am encouraged by what everyone says about mid 13's being possible. Once I get a baseline established I am going to mix in some 113 Octane oxygenated fuel and start bumping the Timing to try to squeeze a little extra power out of it.

Even though it is my street driver I am trailering it to the track for the event of the above mentioned axle failure.

You do what you want with that race gas, i know i wouldnt do it though. And dont worry about the guy beside you or your reaction time. The clock starts when you leave so no need to like beat the light.
