Default got to the track last night- numbers are in! pic and vid inside

go easy on me guys i havent been to the track in about 5 years now, but i can tell you already that i def need some drag radials! i wasnt able to launch w/o spinning like crazy so i was just slipping the clutch here. keep in mind the humidity was ridiculous and the elevation is effin crazy. im not sure if u guys will be able to see my time slip

Nahhhhhh you didn't spin at all but good times even while spinning

Was that a 99 Cobra next to you? Or a new edge gt?

yeah these sumitomos are not cutting it at all. i was shifting around 5900

that was a gt. i think he had 3.73s, intake, and exhaust. he wasnt getting lower than 14

mrtstang has those same cams and found shifting around 6300 was best. Don't be afraid to rev it that high next time. Even though you have street tires you should spin them before you run just to clean some of the debris off them, it might help.

If your new and not a fast/flat shifter, best to put your shift light at 6k because by the time you shift you'll have reached 6300
As you get better you can up your shift light RPM indicator
