Noticed a few threads with similiar stories and wanted to see what other people would do just for FUN

You have a new edge GT year of your choice. Your choice of tranny and color. with 50k miles and 10k to spend on mods. what do you do? this includes wheels, tires, strippers, booze, cams whatever.

I'd do a Mongoose Vortech Kit - $3600
CX racing intercooler and BOV- $700
Chrome 03 cobra wheels - $1300
Ford Racing 3.73's and SF3 - $500
fox 4 cylinder springs and cut stockers - $100
20% tint - $150
Gauges ( air/fuel. temp) -$400
Cams - 600
Springs- 200
Tune - $500
Install- $1000 from my friend lol
Full Mac exhaust and X pipe

of your list i wouldnt do these:
1) you have a combined 4200$ for a vortech plus 1000$ on install, i'd do the 1500$ build and save the cash or just go ahead and spend 1000$ more for a KB or maybe even a turbo
2) i would not put a blower and cams on a stock bottom 2v


i would get a built shortblock, build a vortech kit, do some suspension and rims/tires, get gears, full exhaust. then budget the other mods for later.

U r aware u r in the new edge 2v section yes?
And as for the op, I ve alrdy spent 10k on my 2v, but I'm not going to list the mods cause 1 I'm embarresed I spent 10k on a 2v and 2 my **** is still slow... so if I had to do it over again id do a ls1 swap in my new edge, n get everything setup for a big procharger or turbo...
