btw...lol at the guy suggesting a GTO over an s197 because the s197 "feels too big."
Just thinking outside the box yo! lol ya, the GTO is nimble compared to the S197 lol

...not to mention as far as the GT's and GTO are concerned....the GTO's interior wins hands down in my book....the GT interior is too boxy and I hate the gauges....

I don't know if the Saleens etc have a different/better interior styling as I haven't been in one.

The new mustang interiors are far superior then our body style, even the terminator interior is boring and plain compared to my s197. I say get the Saleen, it has way better looks then the shelby. Save up some money and throw a saleen supercharger on it and you will be golden!

I wouldn't mind doing the swap, however, it's just not practical. I'm in the military, getting ready to drive 2100 miles across the country to my new base in the next 18 days. Once I get out there, there's no telling whether I'd have time for such a swap. So why not buy something thats already equipped with the 5/6spd and has much much fewer miles?
Have you thought about waiting until you get to your new location and see what is for sale around the new area?

I've thought about it. That's part of the whole wait a week and decide. I'm going to do a little shopping around that area on autotrader and see what I can find. The 2 I listed here were just the ones that stood out around my area.
