Default Found car with everything but wheels

ok, first off, i apologize if i posed this in the wrong section. idk which section this should go under... anywho, I have done some looking around on the Ford site lookin at local dealerships with 2010 GT's and i found one that is EXACTLY how i want it (3.73 pack, back up cam, stick, 401A, just fyi) but it has the 19" bright machined aluminum wheels. this is a problem because i dont like those, i like the 19" premium painted wheels. and after all that my question is... IN ANY SCENARIO WILL A DEALERSHIP SWAP WHEELS WITH A CAR THAT HAS THE WHEELS I WANT?

First things first. Don't get a 2010 GT. period. As for wheels, usually you can work something out with them.

Go for the new 5.0!!!

If you decide to stick with the 2010,you will have to negotiate to swap wheels. If you have good credit they will certainly be interested with your proposition...

They would have to give me one hell of a deal to sell me an 10 right now with a much better 11 coming out.
If the dealer wants your sale bad enough they will swap wheels out for you.
Even if your set on getting a 10 tell them your thinking about getting an 11 and I promise they will knock some $ off to move the 10

i know a guy that bought a 10 last year. i bet he's kicking himself now! lol

he's ahead of the game now though. its a built motor with a whipple. haven't ridden in it, but heard from a friend that it's straight nasty!!

OP: unless you can get a huge bargain for the '10 i would skip ahead to the '11s.

I don't know man I'm kinda torn on this one. If he can get a 2010 at a really descent price I'd say go for it. When I bought my car I was hell bent on getting a 03 Cobra but couldn't find one that I could afford. Then I found this car. Lets face it, the New Edge GT is'nt the fastest (stock form) but it has been fun buying mods here and there. Once I get the Vortech, LT's and suspension work I'll be preety much done (yeah right).. On the other hand you can't say enough about the New 5.0.. So the OP has a decision to make. Buy a lesser car and invest in it. Or buy a car that is sure to be one for the ages..

i'm kinda doing the same thing. since i want to start making payments on a car for the first time, i'm going with the '10 so i can get that v8 sound and performance at a price that i can afford and maybe in a couple years or whatever get the 5.0. i really wanted the 5.0 but decided with the help of my father to get a '10 for those reasons. plus i've read some that the 5.0 probably may have a few kinks to work out and ima give Ford a couple years to do what they need to get that thing running smooth. plus i was at a stealership and one of the sales guys said he could get me into a '10 GT for $26k. so we'll see what happens cause i doubt i could get a '11 with some of the options i would want, oh uh i mean need , for less than $35k anyway.

Yeah man you can get the 2010 put a couple grand in her and make it into a very respectale street/track car.. 26 grand sounds preety good also. Some people are inclined to get the V-6 but IMO the V-8 is the way to go.. Good luck dude..
