I love the sound of a good loping cam in the 2v 4.6 and i heard that you can spray a 150shot on the stock motor with out much of a problem... however ive been told that supercharging is the only way to go.. period. My question is how long is a stock 2v 4.6 hold up with nos compared to goin with a supercharger on the stock motor? Just need to no the pros and cons to each please.

OK... NOS is a brand, Nitrous is an induction application. Fast and the Furious no no #1... Please refer to nitrous as nitrous.. not NOS.

Go with nitrous. cheap and easy power. If you have a good tune and all saftery switches your block will last just as long.

Youd be suprised how long a 10lb bottle with a heater lasts... i went all weekend down in ocean city on 1 bottle...brought 2...only used 1...and the kit was never deactivated...everytime we went wot( in other words...every traffic light, every camaro, every mustang, etc) it was on and sprayin... id be willing to bet a 10b bottle can easily last 10 passes

LOL take the opinions on the anyone other than 049er and dimebag! lol

Dimebag has the sick nasty GT on the juice and 049er just built up a nasty T Trim supercharged GT.....tends to be a little bias!!

or if you want your car to feel like a slug before having to push a button, buy the nitrous. Or hey, do a blower AND blower cams

The nitrous car will win

Example...freddys car...is making 520...or 540? None the less lets ask hin what happened in ocean city...we only got to get a little pull off...and by no means am i as fast as him...but i can say i was suprised ay how close i was to a 500rw car...no doubt in my mind hed run away on the big end...but 1st and 2nd wasnt too shabby

Show me a blower car on a stock bottom end( like me) and ill show them my stock *** tail lights....nitrous makes great tq numbers

Ill be honest...back w my foxbody when i got nitrous it was just to hold me over until i could afford a blower....even this car...just to hold me over...then i realized the blower cars were behind me...

Id rather spend 600 on nitrous...1500 on heads and 1000 on cams and have a much faster car for the money

Or just build a really nasty N/A car and blow away the Forced Induction cars and really have something to talk about.

Of course you would need a $6-8K engine to do this
