Default Need new tires!

Well i need new tires real bad. I'm gonna keep my 17x8 cobra wheels, so what would be the best bang for my buck when i look into tires? I want to get something from American Muscle because I have a $100 gift certificate, plus the member discount. Maybe get some NITTO Extreme performance, 245/45/17?

I went to a local Graham shop today and they quoted me $150/tire for Eagle GT's. Is that a good tire?

I would'nt personally put Goodyear tires on a lawn mower trailer. They are pieces of crap.

Not a big fan of Goodyears either. I don't have any experiance with Nitto, but heard a lot of good things about them.

I currently have BFG KDW. Good all around street tire. Handles rain and light snow just fine. A little expensive, but they seem to be pretty durable, still look good after 20K miles.

I disagree entirely...I would gladly set them right ON top of the trailer to haul them over to the dumpster...its easier than carrying them...lol

Goodyears are garbage, trash, crap, etc.

I haven't looked at AM, but what is your budget like? I assume you need all four not just front or back sets? Are all the rims 17x8?

My had put the Goodyear eagle F1s on his T/A and they've been great. But i have Nitto 555s on my car and LOVE em...they are a great tire.

I may be the only one who hasn't had a bad experience w/ goodyear...idk why??...

F1's aren't as bad, but they are ridiculously expensive! And they have to be the F1 Supercar.

I had Nitto 555's put on a couple months ago...really good tire...not that I really have much to compare them to since they replaced some crappy Khumos. But they seem to grip really well and I like the tread pattern. $330 mounted and balanced, but these were 275/40/17s
