I welded in two high flow cats on my old BBK O/R H-pipe and it passed NJ and NC emissions testing. But I would go back to the dealership and b!tch.

Bring it back to the dealer, bring a copy of this (Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law) with you.

If the cost of repairs is more than 10% of the vehicle cost you can have the sale voided--but you have to have the car inspected and fail within 7 days of purchase, and you only have 14 days to get the whole thing done...

Thanks guys, I went back to the dealer and unbelievably he denies that the car doesnt have cats. Even tried to trell me they were INSIDE the H pipe I contacted a lawyer and he said he would chg roughly $300.00, and suggested I take him to small claims court. (what a pain) Turns out I have a O/R x pipe Magnaflow stainless cat-back system. I know some one who has a stainless H pipe w cats I can buy and will most likely sell my X pipe. The cats should quiet it down quite a bit but still the mufflers are basically straight through.

Man I would flip out on the dealer if they tried to make me look like a fool and tell me cats were inside the H pipe....
