Possibly looking for a NE GT

bullitts have the same suspension setup as a mach1 (and actually, the bullit sits a 1/4" lower) and have a much better intake than GT's (aluminum with twin throttle blades, rather than crappy plastic with a single throttle blade), which is why GT owners pay ~$1200 to swap to the bullitt intake. they're interiors are a bit nicer too. take all that into consideration, then figure that most bullitts run about 1500-2k more than GT's with the same mileage and in near similar condition. sounds like a fair price to me for the upgrades you get.

The sad part is that seems to be the going rate around here. You should see some of the prices. My favorite is $14k+ for a 03 GT with 74,XXX. Stock

If you want one that bad are you willing to travel for it? Look in surrounding states for one and see what they go for. For $15K I can get a sweet 04 Mach1 in MA/NH. I hit it right and got my 04 GT stock with CAI/catback/lowered 32K mi for $8K...private party adult owned came from FL....off craigslist.
Deals are out there, just a matter of searching and right time right place.

Checked out the red '01 GT posted earlier, looks and sounds good. Pretty clean for an '01. They wouldn't let me drive it and I also talked a little bit about trading my car. They offered $9,000 for it (after originally offering in the $7ks ). I'm thinking if I could get $10,000 out of them for it, making it an even trade, I might go with it. Obviously I'd have to thoroughly have it looked over and drive it to get a feel before doing anything
I'm also thinking if I can't get more out of them then I'd take some of the mods off and sell them, which I might do anyway...
On a separate note, when telling the owner of the place my mods, he said "why would you do that to a 6?" douche

I was tempted to but there were some GTs/Maseratis/STis/Porsches on the lot so I figured I'd let it go and not make a scene. It was the owner too so I figured one of them had to be his

But believe me, before I do anything, I'm spending some time with it
