that looks like a great GT, but seriously, f*ck that price tag. 10 grand for a lightly modded 01?! even at 72k miles, its def not worth it

Isn't the reason why they sit lower is because the Bullitt has a different Front & Rear Performance Swaybar?

The sad part is that seems to be the going rate around here. You should see some of the prices. My favorite is $14k+ for a 03 GT with 74,XXX. Stock

If you want one that bad are you willing to travel for it? Look in surrounding states for one and see what they go for. For $15K I can get a sweet 04 Mach1 in MA/NH. I hit it right and got my 04 GT stock with CAI/catback/lowered 32K mi for $8K...private party adult owned came from FL....off craigslist.

Deals are out there, just a matter of searching and right time right place.

I've been skimming the PA/NJ/DE/MD/NY area craigslists. That's a great deal on your GT

Checked out the red '01 GT posted earlier, looks and sounds good. Pretty clean for an '01. They wouldn't let me drive it and I also talked a little bit about trading my car. They offered $9,000 for it (after originally offering in the $7ks ). I'm thinking if I could get $10,000 out of them for it, making it an even trade, I might go with it. Obviously I'd have to thoroughly have it looked over and drive it to get a feel before doing anything

I'm also thinking if I can't get more out of them then I'd take some of the mods off and sell them, which I might do anyway...

On a separate note, when telling the owner of the place my mods, he said "why would you do that to a 6?" douche

Ask him "So I can come to places like this and demand more money on trade in for my car. Why, what do YOU drive?"

I was tempted to but there were some GTs/Maseratis/STis/Porsches on the lot so I figured I'd let it go and not make a scene. It was the owner too so I figured one of them had to be his

That guy was a real idiot. Just like one of the other guys asked. Why wouldn't he let you drive it?

He said when you get more serious about buying it they let you. I guess also since they have some nice cars they don't want anyone just walking in and taking a car out to f*ck around with. Plus I'm 20 y.o. so he maybe thought I just wanted a joy ride

But believe me, before I do anything, I'm spending some time with it
