Check out Modular Head Shop's cams. I recently went with their stage 2's. The owner really knows his stuff when it comes to heads and cams for the mod motor.

Don't exceed .500 valve lift or you will run into piston valve clearance issues. Unless of course you plane on replacing the pistons too. I would also recommend getting heads as well. If you would like I can give you the specs on my camshaft and heads, they got me about 70hp with a dyno tune. I went from 260hp to 325hp. Remember both numbers are rated at the wheels.

I picked up 30 hp from my hitech stage 2s. Make sure you get any cam degreed to make sure you have enough clearance.

before any recomendations what are your plans?? want to S/C, T/C, nitrous or just N/A? daily driver, weekend car, or race car?? remember cams are one of the last mods you have to do.... so you can get the best specs for your set up.

Call Tim at Mr. Norms garage and pick up a set of MPH custom grinds. You won't be sorry.

Actually the lift has nothing to do with ptv clearance. It's the duration and lsa. With that said he can also run up to a 550 lift just fine with the PI motor.
