Default Teej needs...ONE SET OF BRAKE PADS!

Hey guys,
Most of you know that I got cobra front brakes and stuff as part of my IRS swap deal, but the pads are about shot on them. I found the Brembo sport pads on Tire Rack for $14 but i heard they dust like a crop duster. So though cheap, they are out of the question. So Im looking for a good set of pads to go with. Here are my conditions for the pads:

1. Decent stopping power
2. Low/Very low dust
3. Not overly noisy
4. Decent life, even when pushed

Im going to be probably start auto-x here soon, or at least starting to try it soon to get a feel, but i also would like to take it to an open track day or something just to try it and i dont want to have crappy brake pads and not have much stopping power and stuff. Anybody have any suggestions?

Teej

Im getting ceramic Hawk pads. Long life, no noise low dust good stopping power.

If your gonna auto x I recommend you get 2 sets of pads and swap out that day(for the front at least).

Hawk Ceramics it is. lol im not doing them like now...but within the next month or so. First is gonna be the IRS getting paid for, then the coilovers for the front, then the c/c plates and brake pads. Thats how its gonna go for me i think. then im gonna worry about things other than suspension.

I'm running ceramic Hawk Pads with my saleen chrome wheels and I don't get much dust.

All I can think of reading the title is "Tommy just sold....a HALF A MILLION BRAKE PADS!!!!" - Tommyboy

So are you going to do a autox without CO in the rear? Think there will be more over steer with that? Id prefer that anyways since whenever I'm at an event I under steer like a bitch, plus lots of break fade. Guess that happens when you have DRs out back lol

CO's for the rear are on the to-do list. They are like $412+tax or shipping...idk if i wanna foot that bill yet. The wheel rate of a stock location spring IRS is right at 33%, the wheel rate of a CO equipped IRS is right around 50%...so not that huge of a difference. It will get done hopefully soon-ish, but its not top priority.
