Default Tokico Blues vs Koni STR.T

I'm planing on doing a subframe connector, springs and shocks/struts on my stock 03 GT. I just want to improve my handling a bit for the twisties. The Koni STR-T's are only about thirty dollars more than the Tokico blues. Any experience on which would be the best? I'll probably use Steeda sport springs or equivalent. Coil overs would be nice but the necessary F & R kits start to add up the cost.

That looks like a well thought out and balanced package. Should work great. Good luck with the install.

Thanks... although it doesn't really answer your question persay. Just showing that Steeda doesn't have the best springs for the money. Your paying for the name and not the quality in Steeda parts. Also your gonna need to add camber plates otherwise your get wierd tireware. As for as shocks go Bilstiens are worth every penny and are 10x better than the two you listed. But if your just picking from that list. Koni because (so im told) Tokico blues are pretty close to stock quality. As for the sub frame connectors. I was told by everyone who i asked Maxium Motorsports (period). After em its kinda a drop off. Good luck with your install as well.

Well I am pretty happy with my tokico's. The handling got little tighter, the ride is much stiffer, and when I brake hard the car doesn't nose dive anymore like it did.

I like my tokico blues... They are awesome. Great for street performance... The whole package with shocks struts and springs is more than enough for the average owner looking to handle and look much better... No complaints with the blues from me. Idk much about konis
