Default Need help with 24 lb fuel injectors

On a 98 mustang GT i just put 24 lb injectors and the guy is in a super hurry to drive the car for a wedding Saturday. Can he drive it on the stock fuel pump? If i have to install the bbk 255 lph that he has should i replace the stock regulator. The car also has the BBK 24 lb mass air flow and BBK 78mm Throttle Intake and BBK cold air intake. Thanks for any help.

Is the car stock other than things listed? If so the computer will only demand as much fuel as the stock motor needs. I believe the later PI engines came with larger injectors stock. Unless Turbo/Super/Nitrous the computer will correct the A/F ratio for that injector and matched Mass Air meter.

With all that BBK stuff...i think you need to ask HOSS about it. He is EVERYTHING about BBK.

Actually if you ever need anything BBK, private message HOSS302. He works for the VP of Sales over at BBK and can get you a discount code to use for being on the forum.

The car needs to be recalibrate for the flow rate of the 24lbs injectors otherwise it should run fine. The cobras came with 24lbs injectors with no issues. The stock regulator should work as well.

Thanks for all the replies. I will pass the BBK info onto him. The engine is stock but he has a lot of future plans. Now does anyone want to put these BBK long tube headers on for me, so far a PITA.
thanks for any and all help!!!
