I kinda agree with you about the Cowl hood. I was not going to get a Cowl unless I was going to have something under the hood to make the look match the engines output (Vortech install once I get home). I bought my hood off AM for like 430 bucks (Military discount). Traded the body shop my hood, bumper and all they charged me was 245 bucks (cost of the paint).

thanks everyone for their opinions! sorry for the late reply. but heres what i did so far:

purchased:
fog lights(didnt have any)
tinted windows all around
spec stage two clutch(needed a new clutch)
old school shift ****(cause i didnt like the way stock looks haha)

next:
if i can find a paint place thatll prep and paint my car NICELY for 800 ill do it because my black paint is all unevenly shaded

*what would you guys suggest, Magnapacks or LM2's? because theyre around the same price range, but which one is more louder? thanks they both sound similar to me from yotube vids

If you want something cheap and loud, get manuel exhaust cut outs. That way you can close them come inspection time, but don't get the electric ones unless you wanna spend 500 on getting them and have them installed.

Cutouts wont pass inspection...at least in PA they wont. And a 4.6 with cutouts wont sound great anyways. If it were a 5.4 maybe. My buddy's GT500 with 800rwhp on pump gas with open cutouts sounds freakin unbelieveable. but no 4.6 would sound like that.

For cheap great sounding Exhaust head over to stangmods.com and check out SSS terminator cat back. They sound sick !!! Loud but tasteful at the same time.
