410s in an auto will get you close to 115mph in 3rd. Which is plenty fast on the street and for the track until you start doing big boy things

It's not the gears so much that affect your MPG it's how often and far you put your foot into it.

go to last call racing they have a calculator for top speed with every gear size

3.90=168 at 6,000rpm
4.10=160 at 6,000rpm
4.30=152 at 6,000rpm
4.56=144 at 6,000rpm
4.88=134 at 6,000rpm

Those numbers are with my tire and rim size but unless you got some freaking tires and rims youll be within a mile an hour or 2 from those numbers. Plus that doesnt account for drag but again only a couple miles an hour diffrent. So youll still have PLENTY of gear to make it to 150+ which is way after then youll get to on the strip and faster then you should go on the street. (not that i havent)

That's a fair price. Make sure of ONE thing though, they MUST be genuine Ford Racing Performance Parts gears. Do NOT have him install if they are Motive gears...Ask to see the box the gears came in. It will be red white and blue, and say ford racing all over it.

+1... FRPP are the best set of gears I've ever installed and I've been through a few... Op hopefully you will listen to everyone and go with the 410's. I had 373's for about a year and I thought they were the best gear. Rode in a buddys 02 GT (with 410's) and I was like WOW!!
