Default 70 or 75 TB?

Plan on getting a new throttle body and plenum. Most likely a accufab. Most of the parts sites state that a 75 is for heavily modified or supercharged mustangs but I have seen a few members on here have them in there sigs with no such mods. So how do they run? I dont plan on ever supercharging it. Putting an x pipe and tails on it has an fipk II already on it. What is the stock size tb?

First thing's first, don't waste the money on an accufab.
Secondly, 70 mm will do just fine, but so will 75-and if you ever stumble across a vortech kit for dirt cheap and want to slap it on, you will have a 75mm already in place. To be honest, wtf is 5mm going to matter in the diameter between two aftermarket plenums? Not much. However, the "5mm" over stock goign to a 70mm is a different story, as the aftermarket ones have a better flowing elbow inside in general, not just the diameter of the opening. Whatever you get, just make sure the Throttle body size is the same as the plenum size. Get both at 70, or both at 75, or save some bones and get the BBK listed above.

No matter which you choose, you will experience a noticeable improvement in throttle response, especially if you get yourself a tuner to go with it. I had most of my mods done before I got a tuner, and i still noticed a pretty good difference without the tuner.

As far as brands, I am more than happy with Trickflow and Summit, considering they are basically the same, and the quality is very good for the price.

Only reason I have a 75mm is b/c I came across a good deal on CL. If I bought it new, I prob would have gone 70mm as this car is a DD and in no time soon will it become a "weekend warrior".
