Since new, I'v been using GM Synchromesh in my TKO - as Tremec recommends. The TKO tends to be a bit notchy.

This time, I decided to use Royal Purple auto trans fluid. I didn't expect to notice any improvement, but the RP was a little bit cheaper. Since I uses RP in the diff and crank case, I figured it wouldn't.

Surprisingly, I did notice an improvement! Shifting seems to be a little smoother, especially 2-3. I often slip it from in to neutral without releasing the clutch. 3rd and 4th need a little extra effort. Even that improved.

As I said, I was surprised, as I didn't expect to see any change. I can't wait to get back to the track and see how it does.
