Carbon Fiber Hood/Trunk worth it?
I was thinkin about getting a hood and trunk for the stang. Was wondering how much weight i could save and if its worth it? Anyone have any personal experiance on the matter?

The trunk is kinda up to you but the hood weight loss is significant. I had one on my old 2000 GT.

I have the Cervinis Stalker body kit all the way around and a CF knock off hood. The weight savings was impressive.
As for the trunk, stock the SN-95 GTs are about 56/44 weight distribution, you should focus on the front first, IMO.

Ricerish? Maybe if he didn't paint it, but I highly doubt he wouldn't paint it to match. Nobody would even be able to tell.

there are other, cheaper ways to shed weight. for the cost, i don't see it ever being worth it for the goals you have in mind.
