Big n Littles: Tire size and Backspacing Qs

Hopefully before this season comes to an end I plan on getting some Billet Specialties wheels and wrapping them in MT's for the track. I want something that I can drive to the track on, and if I don't feel like changing them when I get home at 10:30, be able to drive on to work the next day. For that reason I'm going with MT DR's and not ET streets or drags. I plan on running a 15x8 out back and 15x3.5 in the front. What is the correct backspacing for the rears and what size spacer will I need for the fronts to clear the brakes? Also, I'm considering running a 275/60 tire. I think it will match decently with my 4.10 gear for now and give me room to grow for when I go FI. Does anyone have an objection to running a 275/60 over a 275/50 with my car the way it sits now?

More details on your suspension.

BFG g-Forse T/A KDW

It's a track tire that just so happens to be street legal.

I love mine(255/40front, 285/40rear) on 18s, but next time I'm going 255/35 and 295/35.

Makes the car grip so much better.

He wants tires he can drive to the track...
Can't you read?
I just told him what sizes I'm running.

My tires are track tires that also happend to be street legal, which seems to be right up his alley.

See above, you are not addressing his question...D'uh

I don't care what size wheels he has or what tire gets

I just said that you can't go wrong with the g-Force T/A KDW.

So back on topic...What gears do ya have? Are you an auto or stick? I am asking this in reference to your tire size? As far as back spacing on the rears...if ya run a 15x8 you will work well with a 5.5" BS. The tires will tuck right at the fender lip and look good.

Tire size will depend on the answers to the questions I asked.

Sorry, I thought I had all that in my sig still. The car's a five speed with 4.10s. Suspension is UPR uppers and lowers with sphericals and a Baseline ARB. Front swaybar ripped off. As it sits right now, the car has a best of 13.14 and it regularly 60's in the 1.7's, best of 1.759 on 17" M/T's. And as I said, I don't know what these BFG tires are, but the Hoosier QTP's and M/T ET Streets are also DOT approved, but I don't trust them for more than the 15 minute drive I have to the track, and if it's raining when I leave, I don't even trust them for that. That's why I'm sticking with a drag radial.
