i have a O/R H-pipe and i was thinking about gettin loudmouth 1's buti was wondering if it was too loud to hear the person in the passenger seat? I love loud cars and i deffinetly want to make mine louder but its a daily driver so any opinions on wether or not LM 1's is a good option?

I don't see why they would be a BAD idea. Do you have stock headers or aftermarket? Hell I have longtubes, and o/r X, and Borla Stingers on my daily. Loud? Hell yea. Too loud? Is there such a thing?

Just do a youtube search, I'm sure something will pop up.

Just remember the general consensus when getting SLP exhaust...

LM1's - LOUD and deep
LM2's - loud and DEEP

Both sound good IMO.

Yeah its loud when you want it to be. If your driving around like a normal person its pretty tamed, my kids will fall asleep in the backseat of my car with no problem.

I guess it must just be the difference between running an o/r h or o/r x, because LM1's on an o/r x (at least the one I have) was almost unbearably loud; sounded like farm equipment on accel and rapid fire shotgun blasts on decel. Almost impossible to carry a conversation with a passenger or listen to some tunes properly (difficult even with two 10's in the trunk). The only time it sounded great was at startup and idle. LM2's fixed my problem.

I don't see the point in buying an LM1...if you look at a cut-away and the interior construction, it is just a hollow cavity with pipes at the front and back. You might as well save your money and go with no mufflers and add a muffler delete pipe in from any exhaust shop. At least with the LM2's there is SOMETHING inside them maybe worth buying..the packing and whatnot.

Post #2 (you can verify there is no packing since you can see the "SLP" stamping from the inside)

IMO they are just something to say you have..."I have an SLP exhaust" You are paying 5X the amount you would to have some Joe-Shmo make up muffler deletes for maybe $40 total. Ask me how I know...
