Id daily drive a new V6, thats about it though lol. I love my 2v. I've pretty much poured my life into the car. sure, its got 90k miles, doesnt ride all that great, isnt really that quick, but its mine and i can say it was built and made my own by me. I like mine because its an underdog and i can usually suprise a few people with it!

I don't. I have put so much time, energy, work, and money into my car that at this point it is a part of the family.

Only regret with the PI 2V is that Ford didn't notch the piston for the intake valve relief even though they moved the valve 0.060" closer to the piston than the NPI head. These motors would make a ton more street power with that notch.

I think our cars look better, but those can be made to look nice too...
the new v6's are not boosted stock...

uummm i say yes and no, I think its cool to have something different (an actual fast-ish 2v) but with that being said with the many thousands of dollars spent on the 2v, it could have gone much further with motor with more cubes and better flow...

I have no regrets on buying my 2v and I definitely have no regrets on getting rid of it for my 3v.

+1 the dollar to horsepower ratio isn't that great.

I work at a Ford dealer, let me tell you. No matter how much power that V6 puts out, it just doesn't give you the same feeling a V8 does. I've pushed the new v6. Yea it's quick for a v6 but it doesn't put that **** eatin grin on your face the new 5.0 or even 4.6 motored cars will. It's just not the same as a V8. I do love my 4V though.
