Default Do you ever have 2v buyers regret?

I was just pondering this. I got my 03 GT about a month before they announced the improvements to the engines for the 2011. Had I known, I probably would have waited with my v6 til those came out, but I saw a 03 yellow GT manual with only 50K miles for $7K flat and I jumped on it. I thought it was an awesome deal. Now, I have the car, and I realize how much the 2v kinda sucks ***. Doesn't really do well with mods, bolt ons. And Idk, it's a nice car and all, but when I see these new v6's, talking about hitting 13's and getting 30 mpg, I'm just like

Maybe I should be grateful that at least I have a GT at least but still, are any of you ever like this?

I'd rather build it than buy it... Anyone can cut a check. This thought that you've just posted, has not once ever crossed my mind.

It's alot easier to make a SN-95 faster than a S-197, than it is to make a S-197 look better than a SN-95.

We'll most likely never see a V8 Mustang as light as the New Edge, let alone Fox.

only thing i regret was getting the 2v, wish i woulda gotten a 4v. i would never drive the new v6. dont care how quick it is for how much gas mileage it gets, its still a v6 and there is no exhaust setup in the world that will change that. a good portion of the enjoyment i get from driving my car is hearing my exhaust.

I'm with ^^^^... I love the tone my exhaust puts out, and that's why i'll never enjoy a v6 as much... It would be nice to just up the boost on the 2011 v6 and hit high twelves or something though...

I think our cars look better, but those can be made to look nice too...

I would never ever regret purchasing a v8 powered Pony, and in the same breath I would never ever purchase a v6, EVER. I should say that the v8/v6 thinking goes for the Camaro and Challenger as well. Better gas mileage, get a Honda, cheaper insurance ride a bicycle or walk. 6 suck bwah
