Default Living with lowering springs?

So after my Vortech V2 install is finished I will be addressing the issue of the ride height. I'm definitely going to lower the car but I was just wondering how they are around speed bumps, potholes, etc etc... Do you guys just avoid speed bumps all together or is it just really close? Just wanting to get some info before they go on so I don't get surprised by anything and scrape the car or something.
-Thanks in advance

Well, it really depends on how low you're planning on dropping it. I have 1.5" drop all around, and I don't really have to avoid speed bumps, unless they're really mean looking. Avoiding potholes is always a good idea, so you don't bend a rim or knock your wheel outta alignment.

Also, if you have LT's, you may have trouble scraping when you lower.

I was gonna go with either the h&r or eibachs. And yeah of course I always try to avoid potholes, it's just sometimes you don't notice one. And I don't have any LT's either.

i got a tokico kit (included hp springs and shock) and lowered my car about 1.5 inches. i noticed speed bumps are curbs can be problems - but typically only if ur going too fast. if i slow down to below idle speed basically and crawl over them, i have had no issues scraping. i love the set up i got too. rides great and looks awesome.

I scrape every now and then, but it's just because people around where I live put in mountains for speed bumps

you should be fine with lowering springs as long as you don't go over speed bumps like an idiot

I'm at about a 1.5" drop and i scrape if i'm not too careful on steep driveways and speed bumps. But it's really not an issue. I plan on dropping to a 2" drop soon. That should be fun.

I'm lowered on H&R SS's and have no problems with it.

For all of you that are lowered....what type of mid-pipe are you running? I know that a lot of peeps with catted mid pipes are cutting it really close when lowering the car...
