NEED A CLUTCH!
I've got a 2000 GT and need to replace the clutch. does anyone have any suggestions for a good one under $300? the car is stock, and will pretty much stay stock so I don't need anything crazy. I'm probably gonna replace the flywheel at the same time.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I highly recommend getting a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch
it's the best clutch I ever used. The Centerforce Dual Friction
clutch is easy and pleasant to drive but, still grabs hard.Engagement
is very smooth.Petal pressure is just slightly more than stock.
The Centerforce clutches are very consistant when the clutch grabs.
What I like most about the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch is that
it holds alot of power and holds up well to abuse. Also this clutch
doesn't chatter or make strange noises like my POS spec stage 2
clutch did that failed in 5K miles.

My buddy who is a Ford tech looked at my new clutch prior to install and he said it was a very nice clutch. 5,000 later no issues.

I put quite a bit of research into this for my '03 DD GT, and ended up with the RAM "Musclecar" series clutch kit from Summit, this is their house-branded RAM HDX.
I also installed a sort of an odd-ball (in the Mustang community) Ralco RZ chromalloy lightened flywheel (that's an 8-bolt in the photo, the item is 6-bolt). I had used these in my s/c'd Miatas with very good results and when I found they were making flywheels for the Mustang have no qualms about buying one. They are wonderfully machined and far too pretty to be buried so deep down inside where you can't see it...
