stereo seems to be a big hit!

only downside i could see is the wiring it up to my stock system (mach 1000) i heard there is a harness now days that makes it pretty simple. that and how it looks inside.
it cant look worse that that outdated headunit though.

^ Yeah, they have harnesses (you'l need 2 different ones) that will make the install pretty much plug n' play. And if you're running XM Satellite using the unit's transmitter, Best Buy has a thing called FM Direct (that's actually the name for the Sirius one, but I'm sure there's an XM equivalent) that plugs in inline with your antenna wire and will give you a clean signal, costs $30. If you end up getting a new head unit then just plug it in through the aux rca jacks. And while you're at it switch to Sirius anyway, they have better music stations imo (with the exception that XM is supposed to have a pretty good punk channel if that's your thing).

hmm yeah i have the FM direct hooked up to the stock unit. and yes i have been pretty disapointed in the XM service i might get the one that uses both for a few $ more a month.

I'll take some pictures tonight for you. With the iphone you can stream pandora, so I don't even bother with my ipod music anymore...lol.

ah gotta love pandora but arent you only able to use that around a wifi area or are you using the 3G ?

3g. In my area (burbs of Philly), I get very good coverage. I can stream pandora without interruption from my house to the Jersey shore (and back), so it's basically like satellite radio.

Better late than never? Here are the pics. I would have liked to have had my iphone actually attached and everything, but I needed it to take the pictures...lol

I drive a GT and a Mach 1 on a regular basis. Switch to mach 1 seating! It looks better and is more comfortable.
