Offer 3500 and if he says no then ok, offer 3300. Bottom line, the thing doesnt move, its an expensive paperweight with a shaker hood.

i wouldn't offer him crap. a shell that "needs some sprucing up"? from your description the car sounds pretty rough. i think i'll pass.

maybe you could change my mind with a pic. we'll see...

definitely doesn't sound like a reasonable purchase then. it will probably have a handful of small issues that will drive you crazy.

Unless you love restoring cars, then I wouldn't bother wasting time. You can get a nice Mach 1 with relatively low miles for 11-14K all day long.

Man 10k for a mach 1 in NJ??? Damn, they're going for 13-17k up here, considdering they have low milage... If it needs a motor and such I would say around 6 would be fair. How rough is the body? Pics?
