Default cant cut 60ft under 2.0

on mickey t DRs with built posi rear, 3.73s, 2 step on about 3800. full bolt on GT minus pulleys...just had MM FLSFC put on and unfortunately have eibach lowering springs (i know they r no good for the track). bottom line is i cant cut my 60ft under 2.0, its killing my 1/4 leaving me between 13.7 and 14.1, i treid emptying my trunk for weight reduction but it made me completely lose traction an run worse than 14.1, so what can i do to cut down this 60ft? new uppers and lowers? just lowers? are the springs killing me that much? should i launch higher or lower? last year i launched at3500 without a 2step and ran 13.7-13.9, now with 2step at 3800 and my ubframes i cant get back to my 13.7? doesnt make sense to me, subframesare supposed to help =/ at 3500 it was basically a dead hook, at 3800 the tries are spinning a tad but i thought a little spin was kinda good, plus i was told that you need to launch harder to go fast, im just confused...also my best mph is only 97mph where last year i hit 100, wat the hell is going on here =[

Play with tire pressure and what shocks do you have? The 2 step is too low, set it at around 4K and go from there.

I have much better suspension then you, but I've been launching at 5200 off my MSD. Also I set the tire pressure at about 15psi.

Could be track prep also. Have you asked around to see if people think track prep is good?

Even with **** shocks you ahould be able to cut under a 2sec 60 with sticky tires.. Launch it harder

Sounds like your bogging to me.

he has no grip because he has skinny tires, lowering springs on top of the stock shocks..u need to do some big pieces to get to where you wanna be. go for shocks on other mustang sites. you can get a whole setup for 600 bucks witch will deffinitley help your times.

I run on cut v6 springs (lowered 2.5") and Mickey e/t streets with everything else stock as far as suspension goes and cut 1.74 60s launching at 6k with little to no spinning. You should def be able to pull a better 60 with good tires.
