I don't run it often at high rpm's. I picked 400 because I know that is basically the level that once you cross, your asking for trouble on a stock block... Thanks for the info1!

Keep your power level < 400 rwhp with a good tune and you are good to go on a stock motor.
Hey I called Liberty Ford, and they only have the whole unit sender and all. It was double what I have heard the pump should cost me (since I need just the pump).

Any ideas on where I can get just the pump? They said they don't have that anymore....
Thanks

Why in the hell are people so terrified of the BAP? Its the easiest, cheapest and most effective form of beefing up your fuel system. Are people just misinformed on this thing? Why are people buying new pumps, dropping their tank and going through all that BS when they could just buy a BAP, wire it up and be good until 420 HP? Anybody going over that HP limit now need a new rotating assembly and thats a big, expensive step that almost none of us ever make. I'm confused.....

Heres two links that ANYBODY looking to upgrade their fuel system really really need to read.

BAP V.S. SVT focus pump/walbro fuel pump

BAP Theory Explained

Thanks hangwire. I had just heard (mainly from the threads on here) that the focus pump was the way to go. I'll read those articles later today. Do they list where to get a BAP?

Appreciate it man

BAP is made by Kenne Bell. $229-$250 for our application, dunno if we need the 20 or 40 AMP. http://kennebell.net/pricelist/Pricelist.pdf

That might be why people are swapping pumps for 90, then. Might be purely a price thing... I'll def look into which one I need though, because I think I'd rather spend more than go through the replacing of the pump.

Thanks man

^^^ I would opt for the SVT Focus fuel pump $100 is cheaper than $265 for KB BAP. You would only need a 20 amp. Dropping tank is pretty easy.

This is true, but you will be far more limited as explained in the links above.
