I don't mean to appear unsupportive, however you first need to have a basic understanding of how engines work and how modern computerised engine control systems make them run. To do so I recommend Greg Banish's Engine Management: Advanced Tuning book (or something similar), then read it 2 or 3 times, and then ask questions.

Like any tool, once you go beyond the basics, Special Forces requires that you have solid knowledge of what is being "fixed" before you can start effectively fixing things.

What version of Special Forces do you have, there should be a sticker on the interface.

Also, what is your boxcode?

So you are using v1.x, the one that looks like this when you start it?

I am not trying to be obtuse here (though I am good at that), there were some significant changes to the "base" tune settings between the versions...

Cliff what is the difference between the base tunes for 1.X and 2.x? do you have a Comando screen shot of the differences showing the parameters?

Im going to upgrade to 2.x when i get xp for my macbook.
