Default Help me decide on tires...

I am going with 265/35/18 fronts and 285/35/18 rears. My car is my dd and I occassionally do some spirited driving, but nothing to justify a true performance tire. I literally never think about my tires...until I am driving in the rain trying to keep my car from floating all over the highway. I am so concerned about hydroplaning, I think wet traction is probably my number one factor....followed next by treadwear.

For about $750 I can get either of these three tire types:
- Nitto NT555
- General Exclaim UHP
- Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110

Suggestions and experiences with these tires?...

Yea man i LOVE my Nt555's. They are a great street tire that get great traction dry and wet.

Ive currently have the exclaim UHP's and before i had my supercharger I had trouble putting the power down, and with the blower I cant floor it in first gear ever without spinning so I wouldn't get the UHP's. But they are pretty decent in the rain.

I say General Exclaim. Ive heard nothing but good things about them, I was planning to going with them when its time for some new rubber. But I think any of those tires should be good.

I guess I am leaning most toward the NT555's. I had the UHP's on my stock bullitts...I accidently spun out of control through an intersection once with them and at the time I assumed I had hit a patch of ice (it was mid winter) or some loose gravel. Now that I am doing some research, I am finding that since they are a summer tire they become more rigid during cold temps and provide less traction....so maybe that played into me losing control.

Anyone have any negative experiences with the Nittos in cold climates?
