Played w/ a Cute Chick in an Audi A5 and...
 

Well guys, it seems as if my thermostat is clogged! My upper radiator hose developed a tumor that was literally half the size of a football. So with that being said....

The Good - I got the day off from work tomorrow so I can consult with my MF crew and fix this damn thing.

The Bad - So the hose is obviously blown and the cause (99% sure here) is a clogged thermostat. Any other ideas what could have caused it?

I went to Autozone and picked up a new hose and a stock thermostat and I need some help from you guys with any advice that you can shed on this. My buddy who I always work on my car with (hes a Porsche/Mercedes/BMW builder) is on vacation at the jersey shore for 10 days and unfortunately he is the one who teaches me how to work on these things. Does anyone have any advice? Any diagrams? I'm just trying to take precautionary measures here....

sounds like you just got crap in the coolant, maybe change that too?

2 bolts and 2 clamps, not much to it..just make sure you put the new gasket in

But it should be like 2 clamps and then just pop the thermostat out lol. Should be a 5 minute job... I don't have a diagram for you. Grab a haynes manual. I should grab one as well.
