So now what do I do? Will not adding enough burn up my clutches? I also don't want to not add enough though and have the thing more tail happy then it already is in the rain. Opinions?

What fluid have you purchased? Im not sure about the Amsoil stuff, but if you go with motorcraft, get 75-140 and toss a bottle of FM in there. I have never had any issues with it.

"Amsoil Severe Gear SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Extreme Pressure Lubricant for Severe Duty Applications."

That's what the bottle says, I got it for my F-150 a year ago and haven't put it in yet, but the Mustang's on the top of the list right now. I could just buy some more if this isn't the right stuff. I do want to go with Amsoil though no matter what I get.

if they say its got friction modifier in it, then use it by all means. If nothing is stated for FM, then by a small bottle (4oz i believe) of it and add it in first before you go to fill the rest with fluid. Its not rocket science just rear fluid. 80 90 or 75 140 will both work fine with no ill effects.

Ok I'll take a look and maybe call Amsoil and just run it; thanks for all the input guys.
