To be honest, I was going to go with fox body dampeners before I went front coilovers. I think for your immediate fix, if you're going dampeners only, it's your best bet. The extra stress on the SN-95 length dampener at your ride hight is going to extremely decrease the life.

I have one brand new foxbody length KYB AGX strut and one KYB AGX shock if you're interest in going the really cheap rotue.... lol

Why do you only have one of each? lol

Thanks for the offer hank, but i think i'm going to need a little more compression/rebound at my ride height. I'm not going to see that with the KYB's

Well...there has to be some reason that they are not compatible with coilovers which says to me that they are probably not valved like the sn95 HD's are, which I would say makes these not a great choice. But since youre willing to spend $200 now on these and then if you upgrade spend another $200 for new ones, go for it.

But what about the "rear suspension travel augmenters"? lol

You mean the HUGE bumps that first get you airborne so when you come down you get full suspension travel?

.... those?

haha teej! That was great dude

But seriously. Serious question here people

Ya know how the MM CC plates move the strut up in the shaft, thus allowing a little bit more suspension travel? Why isn't there something like that for the rear? Teej came up with an idea of getting a machined washer type thing for the rear shock and then putting the shock bolt up on top of the washer to provide a LITTLE bit extra travel... Can it be done?

and teej - i too was wondering if the fox body dampers are valved like the sn95 dampers... Our cars are heavier aren't they? So ours might be valved a little bit differently? Idk. I was just thinking..
