didn't quite reach the 1500 S/C build but came close (2140 including intercooler). OP I would most def look into the S/C build. If you were to spend 2100 bucks modding a 2V with bolt on's (cams, LT's etc., etc.,) it my yield you at best 40-50 RWHP. A S/C on the other hand, could/should be 100 plus.. just something to think about..

other than your s/c head unit and bracket, you will need either the discharge pipe or intercooler w/ piping (suggest intercooler, about same price and works a lot better), the intake assembly with your choice of maf (lot of ppl use the lightning 90mm maf), oil feed and drain lines, injectors, bigger fuel pump, by pass valve from vortech and a tune. you can go in and upgrade parts like the maf and buy a blow through with a bov like i did or use a power pipe intake assembly but thats up to you. i just listed the basics above. read that thead on the 1500 vortech build, has a lot of good info. as far as motor supporting mods, none other than the listed parts above are required. the factory heads will be fine.

Another member on this forum (Kerns) help me with my build. It took me about three months and this has been done while I am deployed. I did a write up about a month ago detailing how much I spent, where I got it from and what would all be needed for a S/C build. If you want I can send the thread to you. I could have probalbly got the price down from 2100 bucks to about 1900 but I bought a Anderson Powerpipe and also a intercooler.... Good luck..

you need at a minimum, everything on the link that someone already posted, plus a counter-clockwise rotation, strait discharge vortech head unit. this is for a NON INTERCOOLED SETUP. if you want an intercooler, you can buy a CXracing intercooler for like 350 bucks with piping included off ebay (thats what alot of people are running right now).
ontop of that, you need a 90mm lightning maf, some 42lb injectors, and a new fuel pump.
