Your clutch kit will also come with a pressure plate and sometimes a pilot bearing. You also don't HAVE to buy a new flywheel. If you want to save yourself some monies you can just get it resurfaced for like $25.

Matt, I don't know if you have a clutch adjuster kit? But this is the setup I'd go with.

If you have the cash flow I'd just buy a new flywheel. Are you planning on doing the job yourself? We used a transmission jack with my car up on the lift and it was a freakn life saver.

I have had this same prob for over a year. release the clutch (even in gear) it chatters like crazy but gone when petal is pressed. finally got it replaced and 2,000 miles later its back. I dont even know what to do any help? sorry not trying to hijack

I just went driving again today and heard no noise, even when cold... although it is a lot warmer then it was when I drove yesterday. Thanks for all the input, I will keep an eye on it and will plan accordingly.
