Default 5.4 2v Knocking noise?!?

I have a 2002 Ford 5.4 2v and it has a knocking noise, only happens under a slight load, doesn't matter what engine temp is, and it starts at about 1600 rpm. Any ideas?

the 5.4's especially with high mileage are known for the rod bearings going out.

it only has 60k on it. i have also heard that it might be the hydraulic lash adjusters.

Must mean mine with 198xxx on it will be coming out soon then.

Is it a hard loud knock? Can you get a video of it?

It sounds like its coming from the passenger side. I'll try to get a video of it.

I don't think that's a lash adjuster

Sounds like a rod knocking to me. Disable each cylinder, one at a time until the knock lessens, if it doesn't get quieter, then it's not likely to be a rod.
