Default My next DD

Next summer I will be looking for a new daily driver. I am keeping my mustang and have many many months before my purchase. I love the hunt.

I am considering the following 3 used cars with mileage under 25,xxx with price point under 40K, but mileage and condition is very important.

2008 BMW 750i 20 inch sport wheels
2008 Benz E550 w/ 18 in sport wheels
2008 BMW 550i 19 in sport wheels

I am really looking for a nice luxury sedan with some power so performance not as important. In terms of performance with benz is much lighter than 7 series and has more hp. I think am really torn between the 750 and E550. In terms of the look they both are very nice looking sedans. I am not sure if the 750 will be a boat/tank.

Which one would you buy if you had to choose and why?

BMW 550, im more of a BMW guy both of my parents have them, but they have x5's with the 4.8s and i love them, the power is nice and i love the truck. Why dont you look into a 335i or xi. Unless you want a bigger vehicle

BMW ftw. I think the 7 series is too big, so i guess I pick the 550i. After Mustangs, a nice M3 or 335 is second on my list. They are just soooooo nice

I have a 06 530I 6 speed and love it. It's pretty fast for a 6 cyl I could'nt imagine how fast the 550i is..

I would say the BMW for interior comfort but mercedes like the e class are a lot nicer to drive in terms of how the gas a brake pedal feels. (im a valet so I drive all of those cars a lot)

I think the late model BMW designs are atrocious But that wont stop me from owning one. The 550I is your best bet.

It seems like a lot of us Mustang guys have a thing for BMW, myself included. To me, the 3 series feels a lot like a Mustang. It doesn't have the straight line speed, but it handles a lot like it and looks great and gets good mpg too.
