It sounds like this is going from daily driver to another project car!

i'm not gonna lie by next summer i might just start modding this one. i'm taking the '95 to the track tomorrow and that will prolly be the last time i drive it this year. that car drives like crap compared to this new one. i've had zero desire to drive it and have considered taking the 2000 to the track tomorrow instead but i need some decent nitrous times lol.

If you start modding the 2000 you need lower gears (4.10s at a minimum but if I had to do it again I would go with 4.30s hands down) and a stall. I have been DD'ing my 3800 stall for the last week or so with zero problems or drivability loss.

Pretty sure if he mods the 4.6 he is going to push some decent hp and 4.10's will be too much gear. I'm already beginning to question my 3.73's. Perfect for me at the track, but I don't like the top end limits for street racing.

If he stays N/A he really needs the extra gearing with the auto. I don't really see him making his DD faster than his '95. If I was him I wouldn't mod my DD other than full boltons and a stall.

i dunno what i'm gonna do now. i was very displeased with how my '95 performed today at the track. it never runs good on the spray and even spraying all 4 gears it only ran an 11.8. i'm not doing a thing until after winter tho lol.
