Your not going to make enough power with a 4.6l engine to ever need a 9" rearend
This I know, but I'm shooting to eventually be in the 700hp+ range that you were in, and plan on running 33 spline axles and c-clip eliminators, and I know bracing the rear and having the tubes welded like you did would be the way to go. I'm just curious what the cost was for you to do that and how it compares to the cost of a 9.
Building a 8.8 is alot cheaper then building a 9" I could have bought an 01 GT for what my 9" rearend cost. I would skip the c clip elims and weld on 9" ends.

+1... i've researched this 9 inches are soooo expensive.
So the goal is to do this for a living on top of the millitary gig? Whats the company called?
I made no mods to the tranny other then a tri ax shifter and a spec stage 1 clutch.
How the hell did you pull that off. I thought youd need new parts and more then a stage 1 clutch for that kinda power? Or was it cuz ur torque wasn't too high? Im confused...
